Welcome back to our Gardenscape, everyone! I’m Adam, and today’s Video blog is packed with surprises and victories that unfolded in our garden this past week. Whether you’re a seasoned follower or a newcomer, buckle up for a thrilling ride through our green haven.

To kick things off, I made a simple yet ingenious addition to our setup—a fan and a makeshift stand to optimize light exposure for our seedlings. The result? Faster germination for our cone flowers and sturdier growth for other seedlings. It’s proof that a little DIY innovation goes a long way in gardening.

Despite a temperature mishap leading to a few casualties, we’re undeterred. Losses are part of the journey, and we’re no strangers to them. What matters is the resilience to bounce back and learn from our mistakes.

Our last rendezvous didn’t feature Purple Cone flowers, but now we boast four thriving specimens. However, stealing the spotlight are the Daisys and Foxgloves, stealing the show with their vigorous growth. Lesson learned: denser seeding calls for timely division and spacious accommodations.

A visit to Hoffman Hillerman Nursery yielded unexpected treasures—Violet Profusion Salvia, a rarity we yearned for last season. Snagging them at a fraction of the expected cost felt like hitting the jackpot.

As for our flower bed, a Veronica mishap led to a Celosia makeover, but now, the coveted Salvia will fill the gaps effortlessly. Our garden dreams are materializing, thanks to serendipitous discoveries.

But wait, the excitement doesn’t end there. Lowes greeted us with a fresh batch of petunias and Phlox, signaling the arrival of spring’s bounty. It’s a tantalizing preview of the vibrant season ahead.

Inspired by these finds, my wife and I finalized our design plans, earmarking spots for the coveted Peachberry Ice Coral Bells—a refreshing addition to our garden’s tapestry.

However, the plot thickens as our Home Depot expedition unravels yet another surprise—Peachberry Ice, and even Apple Twist Coral Bells. It’s as if fate orchestrated these finds, pushing us closer to our garden vision.

And just when we thought our luck peaked, a revelation about our Limelight Primes stirred a new course of action. Hoffman Hillerman’s hydrangeas, starkly different from ours, signaled a much-needed change. Out with the old, in with the new—our garden’s evolution knows no bounds.

In a whirlwind week, we resolved past issues, surpassed expectations, and charted a promising course for the season. With newfound treasures in hand, we’re poised to tackle any challenge that comes our way.
